Munni Street Subcatchment

Munni Street Subcatchment is located in the City of Sydney. The Subcatchment is a defined area that includes parts of Alexandria, Darlington, Erskineville, Eveleigh and Newtown (Click here to see a map). Stormwater from this area flows into the Alexandra Canal which flows into the Cooks River near Sydney Airport. OurRiver is working with City of Sydney, subcatchment residents and other stakeholders to develop a subcatchment management plan for this area.

Current Activities
Members of the Munni Street Subcatchment community are invited to complete an online survey. The results will be used to decide what type of community water education project/s the OurRiver team will implement in the local area. Click here to complete the survey if you live, work or spend time in Munni Street Subcatchment - it will only take 5-10 minutes. Complete the survey by Wednesday 24 March to enter the draw to win a prize valued at $55.

An optional information session will also be held on Tuesday 16 March from 6:30-8pm at the Cliff Noble Activity Centre, Renwick Street, Alexandria. The session will include an update on the OurRiver project and paper copies of the online survey will be available to complete on the night. To RSVP use the contact us form or call Susan Pritchard on 9748 9647. Click here for more details about the survey and community water education in Munni Street Subcatchment.
