If you live within one of the six Cooks River Sustainability Initiative subcatchments you may have received a Community Water Survey from your Council in the mail in 2008. The results from this survey are providing us with valuable information and will be used to inform future water planning.

Residents from the Ashbury, EC East, Munni Street, Rookwood Road, Strathfield South and Upper Wolli Creek subcatchments have had the opportunity to take part in visioning sessions and community forums to develop a ‘2050 Vision’, goals and actions for their local areas. If you live within these subcatchments and missed out on attending these sessions you can still contribute to developing and implementing the Action Plan. Please contact us for details.

If you are unsure whether you live in one of the project subcatchments or would like more information on the project please contact the Cooks River Sustainability Initiative team.

No matter where you live there are many ways you can get involved to help improve the health of the Cooks River. Check out the project website links for more information and useful ideas.
